Moving-head washA wide, soft field of color. This is what makes a room feel a color, and what changes the mood between dinner and dancing.
Moving-head beamA tight, hard shaft of light. Visible in the air, moves with the music, and is what people photograph on a dance floor.
UplightingFixtures at the base of walls and columns, washing upward. The cheapest way to change a whole room, and it works in daylight-lit spaces too.
